Most of the work I do uses 16g stainless, and previously I'd ordered a large chunk from theringlord.com, but shipping for that is expensive. Can anyone recommend somewhere I might buy wire locally (SF Bay area) to save on the shipping costs?

Re: Where to buy stainless wire?
Thu, April 2, 2009 - 6:12 PMIt's been a while for me, but I have bought SS wire at Western Steel & Wire - local.botw.org/California...773647.html . Its in the Bayview area. Not sure how the prices compare though. And whether they have more than one style of SS. I got a nice brushed SS in 18g. They're fairly helpful and can deliver (from what I remember). I'd give them a call to see if they still carry what you're looking for.
Good luck! -
