      dremel and a small diamond point grinding bit.
      The plires already have small divots to start with.

        Wow Tribe is working....
        Thank you for the link. I got a pair of the wire pulling pliers. Let me see if I understand how to cut the divots. They need to be about the same diameter as the rivet just inside the edge of the pliers. They need to be deep enough to hold the rivet in place but still allow it to be closed.
        Does this sound about right?

          That is about the size of it.
          Since I use it for wedge rivets I just put a small cut on one side opposite one of the dimples that are already in the pliers. It just needs to be enough to keep the rivet from slipping.
