Okay, I am in need of some advice on one of my projects I'm going to post some pictures with the same title. I was using the pouch for my ipod but I traded in the old nano for a new one that doesn't fit. I would like to sell the pouch as a coin purse but I've never sold anything before. Can you please tell me how much you think it's worth? And if you know of a good website to sell it on, eBay kinda scares me. And if you have any other comments/questions on it I would love to hear them.
Oh and I'm new to the tribe and this whole website so....HI EVERYONE :)

Sun, May 18, 2008 - 5:13 PMWait, when I say "what you think it's worth" I pretty much just mean what you think you would pay for it or it it helps how much 3 days worth of work with aluminum and stainless steel rings. I don't know how many I used. Anyways I'm waiting for your responses. -

Sun, May 18, 2008 - 11:55 PMFigure out how many you used of each and give yourself $.05 per aluminum and $.07 per stainless as a rough starting point. -

Mon, May 19, 2008 - 5:40 AMDon't forget that time is money too. If you've worked three hours on it, you could ask 30 dollars extra. On the other hand, when I calculate time like that, the price gets so high that even I wouldn't want to pay so much for it and I know what kind of effort it was! -

Thank you both
Mon, May 19, 2008 - 8:02 AMThank you i guess i'd better figure out a way to count my rings and start doing some math. Does anyone know of a good way to go about selling it because it will be my first time trying to sell something outside of friends and school.

Re: Opps
Tue, May 20, 2008 - 9:10 PMThat amount included time. I based that on working for one hour making a sheet of 4-1 in aluminum - then counting the rings.
